What is the difference between translation and localization?
How do I know which one I need?Think of translation alone as the same level of Google Translate - sure, you've successfully got your product in another language, but it's not exactly natural or how a native would speak.Localization takes into consideration the original language meaning, as well as how to convey it to a native audience. Take the example below:

Note the fluency, colloquialisms, and characterization of the localization versus the translation. Accordingly, if you have not hired another localizer to adapt my translation, it is highly likely you will also require my localization services.I want to translate a video but I don't have the script anymore. Yes, but this will incur a document formatting fee for not providing the original text or transcript. I may also ask for proof that you own the content, or permissions and intent if the content belongs to somebody else.I've got my script/lyrics translated and adapted, and I've now cast talent to voice it.
How do I know they're saying everything correctly?
One of two options - you can check, or I can check for you. Or both, if you want to be sure!You can check by requesting the Romaji service - I will provide a Romaji transcript so you can read the text and listen out for discrepancies in the audio.I can check if you send me the finished audio, which I charge per minute for listening to.

「翻訳」と「ローカライゼーション」の違いは何ですか。どちらのサービスが必要ですか。「翻訳」というのは、「グーグル翻訳」との能力は同じぐらいです。ネイティブスピーカーの話し方じゃなくて分かりにくいから、ローカライゼーションが必要です。「ローカライゼーション」は、元の言語の意味を保ちながら、ネイティブ人々に伝えます。
